CarFolks.com Names Robert W. Lawson Chief Financial Officer

/E-commerce News Articles/ - PORTLAND, OR, May 21, 2008 - CF Media Group, Inc. today announced that Robert W. Lawson, CPA has been named Chief Financial Officer for CarFolks.com, the new dynamic automotive social network introduced earlier this year.

Robert W. Lawson's 25 years of financial management experience will bolster the fast track that CarFolks.com is on for extraordinary growth in North America. Mr. Lawson was Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations of Wine.com, a national Internet retailer and distributor, with operations in 26 states, serving the national market.

Earlier in his career in his capacity as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Chrome Systems, a software and technology provider for the retail automotive industry. Mr. Lawson was responsible for directing Chrome System's financial activities as well as being instrumental in generating over $24 million in venture based capital, after prepping the company for solid financial growth.

Mr. Lawson also held management positions at The Greenbrier Companies and PacifiCorp. During his 7 years at The Greenbrier Companies, Mr. Lawson was integrally involved in successfully growing revenues from $200M to over $500M, during which time Mr. Lawson was part of the financial team that also managed the initial public offering of the company.
