The Partnership for Philanthropic Planning recently used Guide by Cell SMS technology for attendee participation exercises at the 2011 National Conference on Philanthropic Planning.

The conference in San Antonio, Texas, included lectures, how-to sessions, research and interactive presentations geared toward charitable giving professionals.

Attendees at a professional ethics session used Guide by Cell's text messaging platform to give their input on a variety of ethical scenarios. After being presented with a situation and possible responses, attendees of all ages used their mobile phones to text the corresponding number (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.) to vote for their answer.
